Pi Omega remembers Bro. Carter G. Woodson.

 

Bro. Carter Godwin Woodson

December 19,1875 to April 3,1950

 

Brother Woodson was an African-American historian, Author, Journalist and founder of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History.  He is considered one of the first to conduct a scholarly effort topopularize the value of Black History.  Brother Woodson was one of the founders of the Journal of Negro History.  Dr Woodson is known as the Father of Black History.

Pi Omega is a graduate chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.  Pi Omega Chapter has been instrumental in sponsoring programs that foster achievement, scholarship, community action, and the search for talent.
